At Zoo BJJ, we believe that self-defense is an essential skill for everyone to learn. Our Self Defense component emphasizes practical techniques and strategies that can be used to protect oneself in real-life situations. Participants will learn how to use striking techniques effectively in self-defense scenarios, empowering them with the confidence and skills to stay safe in various challenging situations.
Striking
This class will focus on teaching students the fundamental techniques and skills required for effective striking in combat sports. Participants learn various punches, kicks, elbows, and knee strikes, along with proper stance, footwork, and defensive maneuvers. Add striking to your training to become a more well rounded martial artist.
Confidence
Confidence is a key factor in personal growth and achievement. In our program, participants will not only develop physical skills but also cultivate mental strength and self-assurance. Through consistent training, overcoming challenges, and achieving personal goals, individuals will experience a boost in self-confidence that transcends the mats and positively impacts their daily lives.
Fitness
Striking is an intense and dynamic sport that provides an excellent full-body workout. Our program at Zoo BJJ focuses on improving participants’ physical fitness, including strength, agility, endurance, and flexibility. Engaging in striking drills and exercises will lead to increased cardiovascular health, muscle development, and overall improvement in physical well-being.
Stress Relief
The intense, repeated motions in striking can be a great outlet for frustration, anger, and stress.
